This is usually one of the most difficult things for new drivers to pick up because we are not used to making such fine, controlled movements with our feet.
As your lessons progress, your instructor will take you through all of the necessary skills required to make sure you are able to travel safely and ultimately, to ensure you pass your driving test. When ready, your driving instructor will let you know when is a good time to book the three tests – theory, hazard perception and practical – as there can be long waiting times at certain times of the year.
As your tests get closer, we often quiz you on what various road signs mean, what you should do in certain situations and of course ensure that you are able to perform the require manoeuvres for the practical test – such as parallel parking.
