Driving Instructors

We are very pleased to have Benn on board. He transferred from another driving school late summer 2010 because he felt dissatisfied with the service he was getting from them. With over seven years manual experience he settled into our routine very quickly and has established himself with many successful test candidates since joining our team.

Benn lives in Chessington with his wife Sarah and instructs from Leatherhead to Kingston and the local area. He is always willing to help other instructors if they can’t cover a test and is prepared to go out of his way to assist his pupils. We are pleased indeed for Benn’s professional approach to our industry.

Benn is very interested in the Air Cadets, Hinchley Wood, but that does not stop him being available during unsociable hours.

Mike is an old hand as a driving instructor, teaching hundreds of new drivers since qualifying back in the nineties. Most of his instructing has been with the AA, but 2010 was the year he decided Hamilton was the way forward. His experience is a great addition to our team and I hope he continues his successful career under our banner.

Mike has a very easy-going manner and can put any nervous driver at ease. He is married to Stephanie and with their young daughter lives in Epsom. From Epsom Mike is able to service as far as Kingston-Upon-Thames and the areas within. Some evenings and weekends are inevitable in this profession and he is able to fit around his pupils to suit their times.

You will benefit from my 32 years’ experience.

It’s great to have Zoran on board. He lives in Thames Ditton and covers all local areas in an automatic car. Zoran joined us from another local driving school in May 2011.

He has a grade “A” and over twenty years’ of experience as a fully qualified driving instructor. It’s very helpful having a lot of teaching experience including as a qualified teacher as he used to teach ICT. He prefers working on a one to one basis, away from the restrictions of a class room and emphasises structured training to all his pupils.

Success comes with his conscientious approach to teaching and a high test pass rate is not a suprise.
His pupils also like his patience and a sense of humour, so lessons can be fun and productive at the same time.

Mat joined us in October 2012 and has already proved himself with a number of successful test passes. He is a great addition to our driving school with many years experience in the local area. Mat lives with his family in West Molesey and is very central to the areas we cover. He teaches driving lessons in both manual and automatic and has the flexibility to match the demands of his new drivers. He is also willing to cover a wide area and work unsociable hours so it is great to have him on board. Mat is used to running his own school so let us hope our support will convince him to stay with us for the longer term.

I am very pleased to welcome Lipon into Hamilton School of Motoring (September 2013). A first rate instructor who has recently suffered from lack of support from his previous driving school. His addition to our fold will be a great advantage to both him and our pupils and this is already proving the case with a number of successful tests coming through.

Lipon is married with a family to support and to that end is willing to cover a wide area from his Sutton home and also work unsociable hours. This allows more flexibility for his new drivers and gives us the opportunity to take on additional pupils.

Neil joined us at the beginning of this year January 2014. He showed great enthusiasm to join Hamilton recognising our reputation and the importance of good service and he has shown that from the very beginning of our association. So I am very pleased to have him on board. He has already gone out of his way to help his pupils and has already had several test successes.

Neil lives in Thames Ditton and covers the surrounding area working all times including weekends and evenings.

We have Paul Neil joining us February 2014. Paul is married and lives with his wife and children in West Molesey. Paul has 5 years experience as a fully qualified driving instructor but since working on his own has found it difficult to build a strong pupil base. So he contacted us. I like his attitude. He is very customer orientated and will go out of his way to help his pupils.

We are lucky to have Paul joining us February 2015. Paul is a very experienced “A” Grade fully qualified instructor of many years standing.

With over 37 years’ of experience, Paul is one of our most experienced instructors. Based in Surbiton, Paul is known for his friendly and relaxed teaching style, helping learners of all levels gain confidence on the road. His patient and professional approach ensures that students feel at ease while developing essential driving skills.

Whether you’re a beginner or looking for refresher lessons, instruction will be tailored to suit your needs, making learning to drive a stress-free and enjoyable experience. Paul’s extensive experience and local knowledge make him a trusted choice for learners in and around Surbiton.

We would like to welcome Judith on board to our team. Judith joined us in January 2016.

Judith has been teaching for 12 years, covering a wide area around Kingston. Her aim is for pupils to learn to drive in a relaxed and fun environment, always setting pupils at ease. Learning to drive in a safe manner is always at the heart of Judith’s teaching. Judith will ensure all pupils receive the plenty of experience in all areas of driving to ensure they are ready for driving on the roads after they have passed their test.

Judith is married and has a cat and a dog and is therefore able to teach evenings to suit the needs of people wanting to learn.

Ann is a recent addition joining us as a fully qualified driving instructor in August 2016. Ann has experience with other driving schools but has found that early promise of work and support either hasn’t lasted or didn’t materialise in the first place. Ann likes being able to run his own diary without interference and that any new enquiries are confirmed as genuine.

Ann lives with her family in Carshalton and is ideally positioned to cover much of our area. Ann is also willing to work both evenings and weekends for those pupils who are unavailable during weekdays.

Ann is an experienced and professional driving instructor. We hope working together will prove to be a long and successful partnership.

Ditta joined us in June 2018 we are very pleased to have her on board. Ditta teaches Automatic.

I have worked and lived in the Surbiton area since the year of 2000.This in depth knowledge of the local area means I am more able to provide you with valuable experience driving on various road conditions. I believe in learning through experience, so you will spend the majority of lesson time learning the fundamentals of driving with the aim of passing your test as quickly as possible. An equally important aspect of learning is the theory and we will spend time making sure you have the required knowledge of the Highway Code, getting you ready for safe driving for life. I also speak Hungarian”

Malik joined us in March 2019 and has already proved himself with a number of successful test passes. He is a great addition to our driving school with many years experience in the local area. Malik lives with his family in Vauxhall and is very central to the areas we cover. He teaches driving lessons in manual and has the flexibility to match the demands of his new drivers. He is also willing to cover a wide area and work unsociable hours so it is great to have him on board. Malik is used to running his own school so let us hope our support will convince him to stay with us for the longer term.

Dean joined us in June 2020 we are very pleased to have him aboard welcome to the team.

I have been a successful driving instructor since 2005,i am very happy to help new(nervous pupils welcome)and experienced drivers to develop their skills, whether it be to pass the driving test to build confidence or to enhance existing skills. Learning to drive is a life skill and I’m fully committed to educating my pupils enabling them to cope with the rigours of driving.

Dean has a number of successful passes and a great pass rate.

Mahadeva joined us in March 2022, he has over 30 years teaching experience.

Mahadeva teaches both manual and automatic.

Mahadeva is very good with nervous and inexperienced drivers.

He has a great pass rate and works unsociable hours.

Shafqat joined us in June 2023. He showed great enthusiasm to join Hamilton recognising our reputation and the importance of good service and he has shown that from the very beginning of our association. So I am very pleased to have him on board. He has already gone out of his way to help his pupils and has already had several test successes.

Shafqat lives in Southfields and covers the surrounding area working all times including weekends and evenings.

I am very pupil oriented, flexible and friendly instructor. I want to help as much possible to get the pupil through the learning period. I can communicate in English, German, Urdu, Punjabi and Hindi.

We’d like to welcome our new instructor Fiona Robinson. Fiona joined us in May 2024.

I am a professional driving instructor based in Croydon, having embarked on this rewarding career in 2016. I completed my comprehensive training with the renowned RED Driving School, which equipped me with the skills and knowledge to effectively teach and guide new drivers. Over the years, I have developed a specialisation in training nervous drivers, helping them gain the confidence and competence needed to navigate the roads safely. My approach is patient, empathetic, and tailored to each individual’s needs, ensuring a supportive learning environment. With a commitment to safety and excellence, I am dedicated to empowering my students to become responsible and skilled drivers.

Gino joined us in June 2024 and brings with him over 35 years’ of driving experience as an instructor.

He lives in Morden and covers the Surbiton, Kingston, Wimbledon, Raynes Park, Esher, Thames Ditton and Tolworth areas. Gino has many years experience of training pupils in his Manual car.

He has a very relaxed, patient manner and works well with nervous pupils. Gino is flexible to his pupils needs and can work most days.

Gino has a fantastic pass rate and is hugely popular.

Kalp joined us in September 2024.

Hi my name is Kalp, I have been a qualified driving instructor since February 2000. Having 25 years’ experience in this industry gives me the edge to recognise and provide training specific to the pupils needs, no matter what level, age and background they are from.
I had been with AA driving school for the majority of my career where I was an instructor and also a local coach to over 45 other instructors. Which I would help with training and running their business.
 
Most of my career I have worked around Essex and East London, and a couple of years in South East London. I located to Kingston 5 years ago and Since then teaching in the surrounding areas.

Balakumar joined us in July 2025, he is a very experienced instructor.

I have been working as a professional driving instructor since 2008, and over the years, I’ve successfully helped hundreds of individuals pass their driving tests. I have extensive experience working with learners of all skill levels — from nervous beginners to those with learning difficulties, as well as experienced drivers who wish to sharpen their skills.

My teaching approach is structured yet flexible. I clearly outline the steps required to achieve a driving licence and encourage each student to take an active role in their learning. Every lesson is tailored to the individual’s specific needs, allowing them to choose their focus areas while I provide expert guidance and support throughout their journey.
