Driving Lessons
For your first driving lessons, we usually take you to a quiet road where you are able to focus on the basics such as starting the car, steering and moving through the gears; without having to worry about other road users. Obviously if you are taking automatic driving lessons, you do not need to worry about the gears but for manual car drivers, this is often a big area of concern for new drivers. Gears are surprisingly easy to master, despite what most people think.
We ensure that you have plenty of practise moving up and down the gears, steering around corners and all of the other basic moves before taking you out on to busier roads.

Each of our driving instructors is fully qualified and DSA approved to ensure that you learn to drive in a fun, cooperative, friendly and relaxed environment.

Frequently Asked Questions
This all depends on how much driving experience you have, how much practice you have outside of lessons and how frequently you have driving lessons. Usually people are ready to take their test between 30-40 lessons but your instructor can keep you updated on your progress.
Your instructor will be able to give you some guidance on this as well as talking you through exactly what you will need to do to book the test and what you will need to do during your driving test.
Usually you will book your test and your instructor will pick you up beforehand, allowing you to practice before the test. You will then arrive at the test centre and take the test in the same car that you use for your lessons.
